Clay Aiken Went Cheap
Bargain basement cheap, if you're measuring against the usual rates. He just couldn't command higher prices, poor man.That is, his baby pictures couldn't. Which isn't a comment so much on his baby - who is adorable - but on Clay's celebrity ranking, which was hovering somewhere just above Carrot Top's until he announced that he was gay, at which point it sky-rocketed to the Rosie O'Donnell level which is still many levels below Scary Spice and not even in the same waters as Nicole Richie.Anyhoo. Clay got around $500,000 for his baby pics. Which, after taxes, is just about enough money for a better haircut. He should put it to good use.
